Using a wahoo shock leader is a no brainer. This is an important piece of gear when fishing with trolling weights. The leader helps to absorb the impact from monster Wahoo strikes. Use a shock leader directly behind your trolling weight, in front of your lure. We custom rig ours in house with several options. Overall length is twenty-five feet. Available weights are two hundred fifty pound and four hundred pound, smoke blue leader. Epic stainless steel dual rotation ball bearing snap swivels keep things from tangling up. All loops have chafe protection. We also have a combo pack with 4 leaders and a single pocket bag.

Used these jigs this week and crushed the bonito on the east coast. This is a good bait to mimic the small bait fish in our area. Also great pack for a 2 pack. I bought a few different colors.

Purchased these and first trip out boated several very nice Hybrids. The fish were in 5-7lb range. The bait falls fast and the hooks are very sharp for solid hook ups. Glad I had an extra one because I gave it to my buddy in the boat and he immediately hooked up. These baits worked so well, I ordered several more. I also referred several of my friends to the site to order this bait.

These lures catch fish. Surface or on down riggers, by far my most productive lure rigged with a ballyhoo!
These are easy to set up and modify. But the nose pin is too short. They don’t come with a stinger hook, but they ought to offer that as a choice. Easy to add if you have wire and a crimper.

I used these in Baja. I modified them to include a stinger hook 8 inches behind the hook that comes with the rig. It worked fine and we caught fish! The only downside is that the nose wire that threads onto spring is too short, and one broke off on first fish. It was easy to fix this problem though.
