Perfect measurements and weight

Used this differently than its intended design. I made raft oars counter balances from them. Previously used steel 4lb mounted on the exterior near the grips. These I was able to install into the shaft and at 5lbs was able to get the weight away from the grips. Both oars took about 30 minutes. Another bonus is the seller got the weights to me in 4 days vice 12 Amazon predicted.

Purchased these and first trip out boated several very nice Hybrids. The fish were in 5-7lb range. The bait falls fast and the hooks are very sharp for solid hook ups. How to Reskirt a Trolling Lure

1. Remove the old skirt by sliding it off the lure head (cut it if the material is too stiff to pull)

2. Clean the lure head with soap and water to remove salt buildup and old adhesive

3. Select your new 13-inch octopus skirt and stretch the neck opening slightly with your fingers

4. Slide the new skirt over the lure head, working it down until the shoulder sits flush against the head

5. Adjust the skirt so the tentacles hang evenly around the hook

6. Optional: add a small drop of super glue at the neck to prevent the skirt from sliding during aggressive trolling

7. Test the action in the water at your normal trolling speed to confirm the skirt swims properly
