Used this differently than its intended design. I made raft oars counter balances from them. Previously used steel 4lb mounted on the exterior near the grips. These I was able to install into the shaft and at 5lbs was able to get the weight away from the grips. Both oars took about 30 minutes. Another bonus is the seller got the weights to me in 4 days vice 12 Amazon predicted.
Used these jigs this week and crushed the bonito on the east coast. This is a good bait to mimic the small bait fish in our area. Also great pack for a 2 pack. I bought a few different colors.

Purchased these and first trip out boated several very nice Hybrids. The fish were in 5-7lb range. The bait falls fast and the hooks are very sharp for solid hook ups. Glad I had an extra one because I gave it to my buddy in the boat and he immediately hooked up. These baits worked so well, I ordered several more. Pin a cigar minnow or small ballyhoo on the nose hook, let the treble stinger hang free, and troll at 3-6 knots. The bait darts and dives like it is alive. King mackerel crush it. Wahoo commit harder because the bait is in the water column instead of skipping on the surface. Mahi swarm it.

How to Fish the Bluewater Candy Wedgie
1. Select a fresh or thawed cigar minnow or small ballyhoo
2. Thread the 5/0 nose hook through the bait's head to pin it against the diving head
3. Let the 4X treble stinger hang freely alongside or behind the bait
4. Deploy the rig at slow trolling speed (3-6 knots) on a flat line or outrigger
5. Let out enough line so the Wedgie dives below the surface and the bait swims naturally
6. When you get a strike, let the fish eat for a count of 3-5 before engaging the drag
7. Replace the bait after each strike or every 1-2 hours as it washes out
