• Our planer rod kit starts with a Star Rods handcrafted deep drop 80 bent butt rod with lifetime warranty – enough backbone for planer fishing, but also outstanding sensitivity for folks who keep a keen eye on rod tips.
• We spool the reel with 350 yards of 130lb Diamond Braid (200lb on the 80W), tied to a custom, hand made planer bridle.  An Old Salty #16 planer is standard with our 80 kit, a #12 comes with the 50 kit 100 feet of 150lb mono is next on the list; ending with a C&H Wahoo Wacker lure.
• For other sizes, please allow an additional 1-2 days for shipment due to the custom nature of this product.  Custom rods in lieu of the Star rod are approx 3-4 week lead time.

These set-ups are extremely effective, and a great buy if you're looking for a turnkey wahoo rig.  Please allow up to 7-10 days for shipment due to the custom nature of this product.  Lead time with our custom planer rod is 3 weeks as these are built to order.  Once you've placed the order, we'll contact to confirm wrap colors and boat name, etc.
