The Ahi Cedar Plug comes out of the box ready to slay pelagics. Cedar plug lures are popular across the globe. Here in the US, anglers use them primarily for Tuna, but many other species will hit one without thinking twice. Ahi rigs these on 150lb Fluoro leader with a 10/0 Mustad 3412 hook and a 250lb swivel. Each plug features a brass through tube to help eliminate chafing. Because of the brass tube, these are also more durable than others on the market. The eyes are prismatic, which helps with the presentation also. Ahi even notches the back for the hook to lock in, so you don't have to. Several killer color combos are available, with durable and vibrant finishes. Cedar plugs are deadly for Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi, and more.

Purchased these and first trip out boated several very nice Hybrids. The fish were in 5-7lb range. The bait falls fast and the hooks are very sharp for solid hook ups. Glad I had an extra one because I gave it to my buddy in the boat and he immediately hooked up. These baits worked so well, I ordered several more.
