Perfect measurements and weight

Used this differently than its intended design. I made raft oars counter balances from them. Previously used steel 4lb mounted on the exterior near the grips. These I was able to install into the shaft and at 5lbs was able to get the weight away from the grips. Both oars took about 30 minutes. Another bonus is the seller got the weights to me in 4 days vice 12 Amazon predicted.

great bonito bait

Awesome bait for Hybrid striped Bass.

Purchased these and first trip out boated several very nice Hybrids. The fish were in 5-7lb range. The bait falls fast and the hooks are very sharp for solid hook ups. Glad I had an extra one because I gave it to my buddy in the boat and he immediately hooked up. These baits worked so well, I ordered several more. How to Rig an R&R Wind On Leader

  1. Create a loop in your main line braid or mono
  2. Connect the Dacron loop to your main line with a loop-to-loop
  3. Reel the leader onto your spool to verify smooth guide passage
  4. Tie or crimp your hook or snap to the terminal end of the mono
  5. Test by pulling firmly at the connection before fishing

80-100 lb for yellowfin and blackfin. 150 lb for larger tuna or when wahoo are in the area. Our tuna guide has detailed leader recommendations.
How do I connect this to my main line? +
Create a loop in your hollow core braid or tie a loop knot in your mono. Connect loop-to-loop with the Dacron loop. Fast and strong. Our leader FAQ covers connection methods.
Is 25 feet long enough? +
For most offshore trolling and live bait applications, 25 feet is standard. For swordfishing, you need much longer leaders like the Diamond Swordfish Wind On (150 ft).
Why use a wind on instead of a snap swivel? +
Wind ons pass through guides smoothly, so you can reel the fish to the rod tip. Snap swivels stop at the rod tip and force you to hand-wrap. Wind ons are safer and more efficient. See our trolling guide.
