The Spanish Mackerel Magnet
Spanish mackerel respond to two things: flash and the illusion of a bait school. The Clarkspoon Mini Spreader Bar delivers both. Seven mini squid create the appearance of a small bait pod. The chrome Clarkspoon stinger trailing behind imitates the one baitfish separated from the school.
The whole rig is compact enough to run behind a planer, off an outrigger, or as a flat line. The 8-inch stainless bar keeps the squid spread apart at the right distance. Rigged and ready to fish out of the package. No assembly, no guesswork.

Ready to Fish
Fully rigged with squid, bar, cable, and Clarkspoon stinger. Tie it to your leader and start trolling. No crimping, no rigging, no trip to the workbench. Everything is pre-assembled with quality hardware.
Proven Clarkspoon Stinger
The size 0 chrome Clarkspoon behind the mini bar is the hook bait. Spanish mackerel see the commotion of the squid school and strike the trailing spoon. Clarkspoons have caught more Spanish mackerel than any lure on the East Coast.
Compact Trolling Size
At 50 inches overall, this fits behind planers, outrigger clips, and flat line setups without overwhelming your spread. Small enough for center console boats but effective enough for charter operations.
How to Troll a Mini Spreader Bar
1. Attach the bar to your leader or mainline via the front connection
2. Deploy behind a planer, outrigger clip, or as a flat line
3. Let out enough line so the bar runs just below the surface
4. Troll at 3 to 6 knots for Spanish mackerel
5. Watch for the rod to load up when the Clarkspoon stinger gets bit
6. Retrieve the bar and re-deploy after each fish
