Perfect measurements and weight

Used this differently than its intended design. I made raft oars counter balances from them. Previously used steel 4lb mounted on the exterior near the grips. These I was able to install into the shaft and at 5lbs was able to get the weight away from the grips. Both oars took about 30 minutes. Another bonus is the seller got the weights to me in 4 days vice 12 Amazon predicted.

Awesome bait for Hybrid striped Bass.

Purchased these and first trip out boated several very nice Hybrids. The fish were in 5-7lb range. The bait falls fast and the hooks are very sharp for solid hook ups. Glad I had an extra one because I gave it to my buddy in the boat and he immediately hooked up. These baits worked so well, I ordered several more. The Loudest Cork on the Flat

Fish find food by sound before sight, especially in stained water. The Cajun Thunder produces a sharp, loud click on every pop that carries across the flat. Redfish hear it from 30-40 yards away and come running. When you are fishing murky water, overcast skies, or early morning low light, sound is the number one trigger. This cork delivers it.

Precision Tackle builds these in the USA with stainless steel wire that will not rust or bend out of shape. The brass beads are the real sound producers. They clack against the concave hardware on both sides of the cork body. Cheap corks with plastic beads do not make the same sharp sound. The difference is audible above water and even more pronounced below the surface. Rig your own leader and bait below - this cork gives you total control over your setup.

Brass Bead Click System

Solid brass beads strike against concave metal surfaces on each pop, creating a sharp clicking sound that mimics shrimp and baitfish on the surface. Brass produces a harder, louder click than plastic beads. Fish can hear the sound from well beyond visual range, especially in dirty water.

Stainless Steel Wire Frame

The wire running through the cork is stainless steel, not cheap spring wire. It holds its shape after hundreds of pops and resists corrosion in saltwater. The wire end has a proper terminal loop for attaching your leader. Built to handle big redfish and striper hookups without bending out.

Durable Foam Body

The round foam body is tough enough to survive rod tip hits, tackle box storage, and repeated casting impacts. Foam does not waterlog like traditional cork material. The round shape pops cleanly with a short rod tip snap and creates a circular splash pattern on the surface.

How to Rig and Fish the Cajun Thunder Popping Cork

1. Tie your mainline to the top loop of the cork using an improved clinch knot

2. Attach a 2-3 foot fluorocarbon or mono leader to the bottom loop

3. Tie a jig head with a soft plastic shrimp, paddletail, or live shrimp to the leader

4. Cast toward structure, grass edges, or sandy potholes

5. Pop the rod tip sharply to make the cork clack and splash

6. Pause 2-4 seconds between pops - watch the cork for a pull-down that signals a strike

What bait should I use under a popping cork? +
